There has been a number of interesting smartphones that have come through over the last year. Although, one of those which gained considerable attention in the second half of the year was the debut device from Nextbit. This is the Nextbit Robin and a smartphone which comes with a clear emphasis on making use of cloud-based services.
In terms of the normal specs, we are looking at a smartphone which comes with a 5.2-inch display and one which makes use of a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Inside, the Nextbit Robin comes equipped with 3GB RAM and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. Cameras on offer include a 13-megapixel rear camera, which is coupled with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. The Robin does come loaded with 32GB storage, although there is also access to 100GB of cloud storage as well. Powering everything is a 3,000 mAh battery and the device does currently come running on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It was announced early today that the Nextbit Robin is due to begin heading out to those initial backers in the coming weeks which will be good news for those who backed the device in its early stages.
