At CES on Tuesday, Huawei took the wraps off of some new products at their press conference. Including a few new Huawei Watch models which are targeted at women. They announced the Huawei Watch Elegant which is priced at $499, and the Huawei Watch Jewel which is a bit more expensive and priced at $599. The Jewel was made through a partnership with Swarovski, and it’s essentially a bedazzled smartwatch. The Jewel and the Elegant are actually larger watches than the regular Huawei Watch which comes in at 42mm. These two are coming in at 44mm. Both will be available later on this year, no launch date has been confirmed just yet.
The Huawei Watch is a great looking watch and performs very well. It features a 1.4-inch 400×400 resolution circular display. Like all the other Android Wear watches out there right now, it’s also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, along with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. It is not running Marshmallow quite yet, although we should see that update available before these launch. The Huawei Watch Jewel and Elegant will be available at the regular retailers, including the Google Play Store, Amazon, Best Buy and of course GetHuawei.com as the Huawei Watch has been available for months at those places.
