Hands On: Incipio's USB Type-C Accessories

Incipio, who makes plenty of great accessories for smartphones and tablets, showed up at CES with all sorts of new USB Type-C accessories. Which is not a huge surprise, considering USB Type-C is truly the future. We saw plenty of laptops from Dell, HP and others with USB Type-C ports at the show, and there are plenty more smartphones coming with them in 2016. One of the accessories that Incipio announced this week was a hub which includes an ethernet port, HDMI port and a standard USB port. This is great for those with a Chromebook Pixel or Macbook, both of which use USB Type-C only.

Other accessories include a USB Type-C power bank, which includes a USB Type-A port so you can charge other devices that don’t use USB Type-C just yet. A great way to make sure you’re power bank is future proof. Additionally, Incipio announced a USB Type-C car charger. So you’re able to charge your smartphone – whether it be a Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X or the OnePlus Two – in the car, without any issues. We got a chance to go hands on with all of these accessories at CES this week in Las Vegas. They will be available in the coming weeks, from Incipio’s online store.
