CES 2016 is coming to a close, but we’ve been heading round the show floor and hotel rooms one more time to take a look at what’s new and fresh for this year’s show. Wearables, along with Virtual Reality, has been one of the recurring themes of the show this year and we’ve seen all manner of new devices launch this year from the likes of Misfit, Fitbit and new smartwatch designs from Huawei and Samsung. Under Armour, the fitness clothing brand, had a lot to say this year at CES 2016. They’ve extended their partnership with HTC to not just a fitness tracker but also a set of smart scales and more. They also partnered with JBL to produce a pair of heart rate monitoring earbuds.
We covered the news earlier in the week and were pretty impressed with what JBL and Under Armour had cooked up, but today we got a chance to take a look at them. They’re certainly what you’d expect for something from Under Armour, and they look rugged enough to take on a workout and pump out some good sound. With heart rate sensing tech, that can feed back into the UA Record app, these are a great pair of earphones for the gym and go beyond just wireless music. Those interested can take a look in the gallery below and read more about them here.
