Plenty of tech companies come to CES in Las Vegas every year in order to showcase their latest products. We’ve released plenty of CES coverage thus far, but the fun isn’t over just yet. We all know that Samsung, Huawei, Sony, LG… and a number of other tech heavyweight companies come to CES, but this tradeshow is full of ‘smaller’ companies as well which are not that well known. Well, Mad Catz isn’t exactly an unknown company, it’s a quite popular brand in the U.S., and like many other such companies they gave participants the opportunity to check out their latest gadgets.
While we were visiting Mad Catz’s booth, we got the chance to check out their E.S.Pro 1 Earbuds, which are the company’s newest gaming earbuds. Now, if you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see these earbuds in the flesh, and as you can see, they sport a rather interesting design. These earbuds pack in 13.5mm drivers which should offer a more dynamic sound, and there are also dual microphones included here. Mad Catz says that you can use the ‘boom’ microphone for voice clarity, and switch to the in-line one if you’re in need of more discretion. The in-ear part of these earbuds are made out of soft rubber, and you also get an in-ear clip which should make sure that they stay in your ear at all times.
The E.S.Pro 1 is equipped with a 4-pole 3.5mm audio jack, which basically makes it compatible with pretty much everything, all you need is a 3.5mm headphone jack to plug these in and you’re good to go. Mad Catz will also include a 2m long cable, which should be more than enough for more or less anyone, even if you need to plug it in on the back of your PC or something. All in all, this is an interesting product, and if you’d like to take a closer look, check out our hands-on images down below.
