One of the things ASUS makes in their giant library of consumer electronics is monitors for computers, and we were able to get some hands-on time with the MB169C+ monitor which is a display that supports USB type-c. The more interesting part is that the monitor is fully powered by USB Type-C and it has a single USB Type-C port for power as well as video transmission and that’s it. Making it simple to use with less clutter as you don’t need power cables, HDMI cables, or any other kind of cable to use it.
The display on the monitor is 15.6-inches in size and has a Full HD resolution, and ASUS is boasting that this is the world’s slimmest and lightest USB monitor on the market. ASUS has packed the monitor with a smart case sleeve that can be used as a stand to prop up the monitor at the right angle, and it helps to the screen protected when not in use.
