One of the big benefits of shows like CES is that you get to interact and see close up devices which you might not get to see or hear about otherwise. Freetel is a Japanese smartphone manufacturer and at CES this week, they have announced their expansion to the U.S. One of the devices which was announced at the event and due to make its way to the U.S. is the Freetel Kiwami.
In terms of the specs, the Freetel Kiwami is a smartphone which comes sporting a 6-inch WQHD display. Cameras on offer include a 21-megapixel rear camera, which is coupled with an 8-megapixel front facing camera. The Freetel Kiwami comes powered by a 3,400 mAh battery, makes use of fast charging technology, has a fingerprint sensor and comes running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) out of the box. This is a device which is listed to come with a $389 retail price and will be sold as an unlocked smartphone. In terms of when, it is expected that the Freetel Kiwami will be available to buy later in Q1 of this year.
