Hands-On With The Lenovo VIBE S1 Lite

Lenovo is another company who is currently in attendance at CES and this week they have made a couple of new product announcements. One of those was the announcing of the latest device to join the popular VIBE series of smartphones. In fact, this is a Lite version of the Lenovo VIBE S1 and one which comes with a more affordable $199 price attached. In spite of this being a ‘lite’ edition, this one comes with a clear focus on camera abilities and is specifically designed to ensure selfies are of a higher caliber, thanks to a front-facing 8-megapixel camera. One which is designed to take better lit selfies in low-light conditions.

In terms of the specs, the Lenovo VIBE S1 Lite comes equipped with a 5-inch display which makes use of a 1920 x 1080 resolution. Inside, the VIBE S1 Lite boasts 2GB RAM and is powered by a MediaTek (MTK6753) Octa-core processor. Moving to the camera side of things and this one comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera which is coupled with that 8-megapixel front-facing camera for those extra-lit selfies and group shots. Storage on the VIBE S1 is set at 16GB internally, although there is a microSD card slot included for expansion when needed. Powering the device is a 2,700 mAh battery and the device comes running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) out of the box.
