One of the big announcements which came through at the start of the week and prior to CES was from LG and was the confirmation of a new range of smartphones they are bringing to the market in the form of the K series. This range largely consists of the K7 and the K10 smartphones, although both phones seem to be coming in various RAM, storage, processor and camera combinations. As well as both a 4G LTE and 3G model.
In terms of the former, the LG K7 is designed to be the smaller and less powerful device of the two. The LG K7 comes equipped with a 5-inch FWVGA display while both the LTE and 3G versions come powered by a 2,125 mAh battery and both come running on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) out of the box. In terms of cameras, both the LTE and 3G models will be available with either an 8 or 5-megapixel rear camera, which is coupled with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. RAM options consist of 1GB and 1.5GB, while storage options consist of 8GB and 16GB.
