Swiss luxury watchmaker TAG Heuer officially launched their Android Wear smartwatch last November, bringing the first Swiss-made Android Wear watch to market with and a price tag to match. Here at CES this week TAG Heuer was at the event to showcase the watch and we were able to get some hands-on time with to give you a closer look. The Tag Heuer Connected comes with a 1.5-inch transflective LTPS LCD display, and it runs the latest version of Android Wear and is powered by 410mAh battery which TAG Heuer boasts has a minimum of 35 hours of battery life.
The Connected also carries more RAM than a lot of the other Android Wear watches with 1GB as opposed to the 512MB that is seen in many others. It has the standard 4GB of internal storage though. Like other model such as the Moto 360, the Connected has multiple color variations for the band, although they’re not interchangeable. TAG does offer seven total colors of the band which are white, green, blue, red, black, yellow, and the orange like shown here. The case is made of titanium grade 2 and also has an IP67 rating so it’s splash proof and water resistant.
