Latest Leak From China Reveals Letv Le Max Pro's Price

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas offered us plenty of new technology this year. Various companies from all over the world participated, and Letv was one of them. Quite a few people were surprised when this China-based company unveiled the first Snapdragon 820-powered handset at their press event during CES. Letv has introduced the Le Max Pro handset which has been heavily rumored in the last couple of weeks.

That being said, we’ve already covered the main announcement of this handset, and have also shared our hands-on coverage with you. Letv, however, did not say how much will this smartphone cost back when they launched it, but thanks to some info which surfaced in China, we know how much this phone will cost in Letv’s homeland. The Letv Le Max Pro will arrive to the US, but it will be available in China first. According to the leaked info this phablet will be priced at 3,500 Yuan, which means that it will cost at least $530 when it launches in the US, but it is likely the price be slightly higher than that. This won’t exactly be the most affordable phone out there, but considering its premiums specs, this price is still significantly lower compared to flagships from some more popular brands out there.

The Letv Le Max Pro features a 6.33-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) IPS display along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. This phablet is fueled by the Snapdragon 820 SoC, and it also packs Qualcomm’s Sense ID, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The 21-megapixel shooter is located on the back of this phone, and Andriod 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed here with Letv’s custom skin available on top of it. The phone sports a metallic frame, and its bezels are quite thin, though there are some black bars present here, as you can see in the images available down below. We still don’t know when exactly will this handset go on sale, but as soon as Letv shares more details, you’ll be the first to know, so stay tuned, we’ll report back soon.
