Letv has entered the smartphone world back in April last year. The company has introduced three devices back then, the Le 1, Le 1 Pro and Le Max, while the Le 1S followed later in the year. Now, Letv’s sales have actually been quite good in China, they’ve managed to sell 4 million smartphones in only 8 months, which is commendable for a company which is completely new to the business. Letv has been around for quite a while though, and they’re quite a popular brand in China thanks to their video streaming service, and some other gadgets.
That being said, Letv has managed to surprise pretty much everyone when they introduced world’s first Snapdragon 820-powered handset during CES in Las Vegas earlier this month. Letv has announced the Le Max Pro phablet, and pretty much introduced themselves to the world. Letv has kicked off their LeMall online shop in the U.S. last year, even though they sell only accessories over there at the moment. Letv will soon start shipping handsets to the users in the U.S. though, and it seems like they company plans to do something similar in other markets all around the world. Letv has big plans for 2016., and it seems like India is included in those, read on.
Letv has confirmed that the Le Max phablet will arrive to India at the company’s event last month, but we didn’t know when exactly. Well, Letv has sent out press invitations earlier today confirming that the event will take place on January 20th. Now, the Le Max won’t be the only handset Letv will launch, at least not according to the teaser Letv shared on Facebook. The teaser, which you can see in the gallery down below, shows us two phones, and the Le 1S might be the second device Letv will announce.
The Letv Le Max features a 6.33-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display along with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of internal storage. This phablet is fueled by the Snapdragon 810 64-bit octa-core processor, and a 3,400mAh battery is available on the inside. The 21-megapixel OIS shooter can be found on the back of the phone, and a 4-megapixel front-facer is available here as well. This is a dual-SIM handset, and Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with Letv’s EUI interface available on top of it. This phablet measures 167.1 x 83.5 x 8.95mm, while it weighs 204 grams.
