OnePlus has introduced two new smartphones this year, the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X. The OnePlus 2 is the company’s new flagship, while the OnePlus X actually belongs in a mid-range category of devices, even though its specifications can even be considered mid to high-end. The OnePlus X has been announced back in October, and consumers in specific markets could choose between the Onyx and special edition Ceramic variant. The Ceramic variant actually requires you to have a special invitation, and OnePlus also released the third variant fo this device a couple of weeks ago, Champagne edition.
That being said, we have some good news for users in India who are interested in getting the Ceramic variant of OnePlus X. The company has decided to sell this handset in India invite-free through select French Connection outlets in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. The phone will be available on January 8th starting at 7PM (local time), and will last for two hours. So, if you’re interested, make note of the time and get ready to purchase the phone. The device will cost Rs. 22,999, and the first 50 buyers will actually receive a discount of 10%, not to mention you’ll also get a special gift from French Connection, a goodie bag. Now, as already mentioned, this handset will be available in select stores only. You’ll be able to buy it in Select CityWalk Mall and Saket in New Delhi, while Palladium Mall and Lower Parel French Connection stores will offer the device in Mumbai. You’ll also going to be able to purchase this phone in Hyderabad, the Forum Mall and Kukatpally French Connection stores will have them in stock. After the sale period ends, the OnePlus X Ceramic Edition will be listed on Amazon India, and you’ll need an invite to purchase it.
