Lenovo is one of the largest Chinese smartphone manufacturers, and tech companies in general. This China-based company has released several really compelling devices in 2015, and the Vibe X3 is definitely one of those phones. This handset was originally introduced back in November, and it actually managed to surprise quite a few people due to its rather non-typical design, at least not typical to Lenovo’s phones. That being said, the device was originally announced in China, and it has now arrived to India as well, read on.
The device has been officially announced by Lenovo in the country, and it will be available soon. The Lenovo Vibe X3 features a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) IPS display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 on top of it. This handset also packs in 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card). Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 64-bit hexa-core SoC fuels this handset, along with an Adreno 418 GPU for graphics. The 21-megapixel shooter (f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, Sony’s IMX230 sensor) is placed on the back of this phone, and an 8-megapixel snapper can be found up front. The 3,600mAh battery is also a part of this package, and this is a dual-SIM handset we’re talking about here. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here with Lenovo’s custom UI available on top of it. The phone measures 154 x 76.5 x 9.3mm, while it weighs 173 grams. Now, another thing worth mentioning when it comes to specs, are the dual front-facing speakers this phone is equipped with. You’re looking at a 1.5W large (1cm) dual front-facing speakers, Dolby Atmos, Cirrus Logic Wolfson 8218 audio codec, and a ES9018K2M chip. On top of all this, Lenovo has also included the TI’s OPA1612 amplifier in this device.
The Lenovo Vibe X3 actually comes in White color option only in India. The device will be available for purchase starting tomorrow, and you’ll be able to purchase it for Rs. 19,999 ($294) through Amazon India. Lenovo also said that their ANT VR headset and Skullcandy Ando headphones will also be available for purchase in India tomorrow, and both are priced at Rs. 1,299 ($19).
