LeEco (former Letv) has introduced their most powerful handset during the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this month. After introducing Le 1, Le 1 Pro, Le Max and Le 1s last year, the company has introduced their new flagship, the Le Max Pro. Now, interestingly enough, this is the first handset which was announced to be powered by the Snapdragon 820 SoC. On top of all this, Letv has re-branded to LeEco earlier this month as well, so as you can see, it was a rather interesting month for the company.
January is almost over, but not quite. Just as we thought no more LeEco news will come knockin’… well, new info arrived. The Le Max Pro (X910) handset was certified by TENAA (China’s equivalent to the FCC) quite recently. This is basically a sign that the device is really close to being released in China, you can basically expect them to start in the coming weeks. TENAA’s listing of this phablet has only confirmed what LeEco reported during their press conference at CES, while it also brought some additional details to the table. This is a phablet made out of metal, and it sports really powerful specs on the inside. This smartphone surely won’t be cheap, but you can expect it to be more affordable than the flagships coming from a more popular companies out there, like Samsung, Apple, LG, etc. That being said, let’s take a look at Le Max Pro’s specs, shall we.
The Le Max Pro features a 6.33-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, along with 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage. This handset is powered by the Snapdragon 820 SoC, along with an Adreno 530 GPU. The 3,400mAh battery is available on the inside, and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 tech is also a part of this package. This fast charging tech can charge this phablet’s battery from 0 to 60% in half an hour according to the company. The 21-megapixel shooter is placed on the back of this handset, and an 8-megapixel snapper can be found up front. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come pre-installed on the Le Max Pro, according to TENAA, and the device will be available in Silver and Gold color options. 4G LTE connectivity is, of course, part of this package, and the device measures 167 x 83.4 x 8.95mm, while it weighs 201 grams.
