Letv has released five smartphones thus far. This China-based company has introduced their ‘Le Superphone’ offerings back in April, the Le 1, Le 1 Pro and Le Max. These devices offered rather interesting design and specifications, and they managed to intrigue consumers in Asia and beyond. The company has introduced the Le 1S handset later in the year (2015) as well, and this Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced their new flagship yesterday during CES 2016 in Las Vegas.
The company has unveiled the much rumored Le Max Pro handset which is fueled by the Snapdragon 820 SoC, Qualcomm’s long-awaited processor. That being said, we’ve already covered the official announcement of this smartphone, and have also shared our hands-on content with you in a separate post. We’ll talk more about the device’s specifications in a second, but let’s first take a look at its AnTuTu benchmark result. We managed to get some hands-on time with the device at CES, which gave us a chance to run AnTuTu on it and check out Snapdragon 820’s muscles basically. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see that the device managed to score 132,609 points in AnTuTu, which is actually comparable to some leaked benchmarking scores we’ve seen earlier, and the ones from Qualcomm’s prototype Snapdragon 820-powered devices.
The Letv Le Max Pro sports a huge 6.33-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, and it will be available in 32, 64 and 128GB internal storage variants. The phone will pack in a 3,400mAh battery with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology. The 21-megapixel snapper will be included on the back of this phablet, and the Le Max Pro is made out of metal. We’ve mentioned that this handset is powered by the Snapdragon 820 SoC, well, it’s the first (announced) smartphone to be fueled by Qualcomm’s latest SoC. That’s not all though, the Letv Le Max Pro is also the world’s first handset with Qualcomm’s Sense ID tech, the ultrasonic fingerprint technology which was announced last year. This device was rumored to sport this tech, but we were unsure whether the rumors are true until Letv actually confirmed this fact. Letv’s smartphones are coming to the US, but the company still didn’t reveal when exactly will that happen, this Chinese company is currently selling only their accessories in the States.
