The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is behind us. This tradeshow was held in Las Vegas earlier this month, and we’ve seen tons of interesting tech during it, as we do every year. Now, pretty much every major smartphone manufacturer made an appearance at CES, and the vast majority of them introduced new hardware, like LG for example. This Korea-based tech giant has unleashed the K7 and K10 smartphones during CES, both of which we’ve already talked about at length. The company has, soon after CES, teased the arrival of K4, K5 and K8 handsets, which are supposed to be coming really soon. Well, one of them just got listed online, read on.
The LG K4 has just popped up on LG Russia’s official website, even thought he device isn’t available just yet. Considering this listing, however, we do expect that the phone will be available for purchase really soon. The LG K5 and K8 are nowhere to be found just yet, however, but we do presume that these smartphones will surface on one of LG’s sites really soon as well. That being said, let’s take a look at LG K4’s specs real quick, shall we.
The LG K4 features a 4.5-inch 854 x 480 IPS display, along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage. This smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s MT6735M quad-core processor, and a 1,940mAh battery will be included in this package as well. The 5-megapixel camera is placed on the back of this phone, and a 2-megapixel shooter can be found up front. The phone offers 4G LTE connectivity, and two SIM card slots on the inside. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed on this phone, along with LG’s custom UI which will be installed on top of Google’s operating system. The phone measures 131.9 x 66.7 x 8.9mm, while it weighs 120 grams. As you can see, this is an entry-level smartphone, and you can expect it to be quite affordable. We do expect LG will offer this phone in emerging markets, and as soon as they start selling it, we’ll make sure to let you know. Same can be said for the LG K5 and K8 as well, so stay tuned for further updates.
