TYLT Unveils VU 2.0 Wireless Charger, Turbo Smart Charger & More

TYLT is known for their premium and innovative products. They already produce a number of battery pack cases, battery packs, Qi Wireless chargers and many other accessories. And at CES in Las Vegas, they have taken the wraps off of a few new products. Including the VU 2.0 Wireless Charger, the TYLT Turbo Smart Charger and the TYLT ENERGI+ Backpack 2.0.

Starting off with the VU 2.0 Wireless Charger, this is their second generation Qi Wireless charger and it has a fully adjustable viewing angle. This is great because you are able to watch a video on your phone or tablet while you are watching it. It is a fast wireless charger, so it will charge the Galaxy Note 5 or the Galaxy S6 Edge+ pretty quickly. We’re looking at 15W output, which TYLT claims as being three times faster than traditional Qi Wireless Charging. There are also 3 coils included in the VU 2.0, so that no matter how big or small your phone or tablet is, it’ll still get charged. Additionally, TYLT Is touting the fact that it can charge your device with a case on it. So you won’t need to worry about removing the case to charge up your smartphone.

There’s also the TYLT Turbo Smart Charger. TYLT is calling this “the company’s most powerful 2-in-1 wall charger”. It has a capacity of 13,400mAh and can charge something like the Macbook which has a USB Type-C connector, or even the Google Chromebook Pixel. This is great for those that are looking to get a power bank that can keep them going all day long. It does include Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 spec, as well as a USB Type-C port, a USB Type-A port which outputs at 2.4A, and a built-in micro USB connector (also available with a Lightning connector). Last but not least, TYLT has included collapsible AC prongs.

Finally, we have the ENERGI+ Backpack 2.0. Essentially this is a backpack full of power. There is a removable 20,800mAh battery inside which has three USB ports. There is a USB Type-A port which does have Quick Charge 2.0, as well as a USB Type-A at 5V/1.5A (great for tablets) and finally a USB Type-C at 5V/3A, great for the Nexus 6P or Nexus 5X. This is a TSA approved backpack, and has a pocket at the top which is perfect for holding your smartphone and some cables for easy access. Even with the 20,800mAh battery inside, the ENERGI+ Backpack 2.0 is still lightweight and easy to move around with.

TYLT has not given any information on when these will be available, or the pricing. But as soon as we learn more, we’ll be sure to let you know.
