Withings 'GO' Is A New Colorful Activity Tracker Announced At CES

Activity and sleep trackers are becoming more and more commonplace with the advancement of technology and the wearables industry in general, and with CES now upon us there are bound to be plenty of new activity trackers to check out. One which has already popped up is the new GO tracker from Withings, (the makers of the Activite Pop smartwatch) which comes with an e-ink display on the front as well as a clip on the back to fasten it to just about anywhere like your pockets, shoelaces, a backpack, your shirt, or basically anywhere, even a keychain thanks to the loop at the end of the clip. The Withings GO also comes in five fun colors, making it easy for consumers to pick one that best fits their personality.

If the GO looks familiar that’s because it takes on a similar design to the Jawbone UP Move, although because it carries the e-ink display it you can see all your stats and data listed on the device instead of having to rely on viewing things through a companion app. Granted, you’ll still be able to connect the GO up to an app for visualizing things in a more comprehensive manner if you choose to, but the display will allow you to see things in quick glances while you’re out and about and may not have time to pull out your phone and look at how many steps you’ve already taken. Using the display you can always view your current activity and progress, and the GO also acts as a watch if you need to know what time it is.

The Withings GO will allow wearers to track their steps, distance, calories burned, running duration, and monitor their sleep patterns to be viewed later through the Withings Health Mate app, and it’s capable of telling you when you begin swimming. This means you can wear while you swim, and thanks to the water-resistant up to 5 ATM so you don’t have to worry about damaging it. Withings plans to launch the GO tracker in the first quarter of the year at a price of $69.95, and it can be purchased in either black, blue, green, red, or yellow.
