Everalbum Photo Storage App Now Available On Android

If you are in the market for a new photo or image app for your Android device, then there is quite the selection to choose from on the Google Play Store. However, more recently one app in particular has been consistently gaining traction with Android users and starting to establish itself as the go-to photo app for Android. This is of course, Google Photos, Google’s own take on what a modern image app should look and feel like, with cloud-based storage, additional features and an overall richer experience. The success of Photos has meant that besides the fast growing number of users adopting the app, it is already causing the company’s predecessor image applications and services like Picasa to be closed down.

That all said, the arrival and seeming dominance of late of Google Photos does not mean there is not still room for competition and one company who is looking to offer some competition is Everalbum. Their app of the same name has now made its way over to Android following what seems to be a very popular and happy existence over on iOS. Not to mention, quite the following outside of the U.S, with particularly high adoption rates in the likes of Brazil and India.

In terms of the app, much on offer is what you will find elsewhere with the app able to store your photos online. Photos are automatically backed up online and are accessible from any device that you own. In addition, you can import your photo from the likes of Facebook, Instagram and yes, Google Photos. Another commonality with Google Photos is that with Everalbum you can also upload all your photos in high-resolution. This is done by default, although, the free unlimited aspect means you will only have access to the compressed files. Those looking for unlimited access to the high-resolution copies of photos (and videos) will need to upgrade to the Everalbum Plus plan which runs about $99 a year, or at a monthly cost of $9.99. The app itself is free to download and those interested, can check the app out by heading through the link below.
