9. HP Chromebook 14

Another tried and tested design comes from HP with their Chromebook 14 model. Up next s the Samsung Chromebook 2 and this is a Chromebook which can be picked up in a couple of variants. Although, this month the smaller of the two options seems to be the better deal as it is currently available for $191. For the money, we are looking at an 11.6-inch display, which makes use of a 1366 x 768 resolution. Additional specs include 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and an Intel Celeron processor. All in all, not bad for only $191. If however, you are looking for more power and a larger display than the other model boasts a 13.3-inch Full HD display, 4GB RAM, 16GB storage and Samsung’s own Exynos 5 octa 5800 processor.

6. ASUS Chromebook Flip

Those looking for a more unique Chromebook might want to check out the Chromebook Flip from ASUS. This is one which takes the functionality of a Chromebook but wraps it up in tablet form. Although, this does mean it is tablet sized as well, as it comes with a 10.1-inch display. However, this is one which comes boasting some decent specs including 4GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and a Rockchip (RK3288) processor.

The Lenovo 100s is one of the newer Chromebooks to be released and is one which is designed to be specifically affordable and aimed towards the education sector. Those looking for one of the absolute newest Chromebooks on the market, will want to check out the Acer Chromebook 11 (CB3-131). This is a brand new arrival and one which comes very aggressively priced at only $179.99. However, the specs are also a little on the light side for that money and include an 11.6-inch display which make use of a 1366 x 768 resolution, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and an Intel Celeron (N2840) processor.

3. Dell Chromebook 13

Another recent arrival to the Chromebook scene is the latest range from Dell. This is the Dell Chromebook 13 series and is one which sports a premium build, the ability to customize the specs a little and also a premium price. However, it also (by a country mile) remains the most expensive Chromebook on the market with its base price coming in at $999. However, you are looking at the best build possible and also the best specs available including 8GB RAM, 32GB storage and an Intel i5 processor – again for the base model.

The Acer Chromebook 15 has remained the best Chromebook on this list for some time. However, it is not for any particular reason, but instead, more for its ability to effectively offer a decent level of specs, a decent build and most importantly, at a decent price. Whichever model you opt for you can expect a very large 15.6-inch display. While the internal specs do vary depending on the combination you choose and price you are willing to pay. However, this month the best price is on the 4GB model which comes with 16GB storage, as this model is currently available for only $249.99 – the same price as the 2GB model.
