Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be announced really soon, February 21st to be exact. Samsung has scheduled their Unpacked event as part of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, and all that remains now, is to wait for it to happen. As is usually the case, we do get quite a few leaks before the actual event, and the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have been leaking out like crazy over the last couple of weeks. We get new pieces of info pretty much every day, and today is no different, read on.
Earlier today, Samsung Indonesia released a video in which they hinted the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be water resistant. Well, now, we have a new leaked image of the Galaxy S7 Edge, similar to the ones that leaked yesterday actually. If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see the Galaxy S7 Edge in the flesh, both its front and back side, as well as the contents of the packaging. This is almost certainly not the retail box of the device, but its content is probably spot on. Now, these images actually come from Dubai, believe it or not, and the source is the same as it was for the LG G5 images that surfaced earlier today. The Galaxy S7 Edge, much like the LG G5, is listed on the site, and actually available for purchase for 4,500 AED ($1,225). Now, the Galaxy S7 is actually also listed on that site, and is priced at 4,200 AED ($1,143), though the images fo the Galaxy S7 are not available from this source. As you can see, this is the stealthy black variant fo the device, there are some dark grey accents on it, but the light might be the cause of that. This is quite probably going to be the official black variant of the Galaxy S7 Edge.
The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will quite probably sport 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch displays, respectively. Both of these phones will be fueled by either the Exynos 8890 or Snapdragon 820 processors, depending on which variant you purchase. Both devices will ship with 4GB of RAM, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz on top of it. The 12.2-megapixel BRITECELL camera is said to be located on the back of these phones, and you can expect them to be made out of metal and glass, as it’s clearly visible in the provided images.
