Honor 5X & Honor 7 Bundled With Extras For Valentine's Day

It’s mid-February and love is in the air. This weekend sees St. Valentine’s Day and an opportunity to tell somebody special that you love him or her. In the United Kingdom, Honor have an idea: why not show somebody how much you love them by giving the gift of a new Honor smartphone? To this end, they have put up two special offers on two of the latest Honor smartphones: the Honor 7 and Honor 5X, available on the vMall site (see the source below). Both devices are on offer with a selection of extra goodies in addition to the smartphone.

The Honor 7 is a slightly older device and was released last summer. This smartphone is based around a 5.2-inch, 1080p resolution IPS LCD and the HiSilicon Kirin 935 chipset, which consists of eight ARM Cortex-A53 application cores clocked at either 2.2 GHz (for the higher tier quad) or 1.5 GHz (for the lower tier). The chipset is backed up by 3 GB of RAM. There’s a 20MP rear camera, an 8MP front facing camera, high performance LTE and Wi-Fi networking and a 3,100 mAh battery. The Honor 7 is being sold for £250 at the vMall but the price includes the Honor Bluetooth AM08 wireless speaker, two £40 Gameloft vouchers and the Honor 7 smart flip cover. The Honor 5X is a newer model, very recently released into the United Kingdom. This device has a 5.5-inch, 1080p resolution IPS LCD panel, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (which consists of eight processor cores of the same type as the Kirin 935, but clocked at 1.5 GHz and 1.2 GHz for the higher and lower performance tiers respectable), 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, a dual SIM set up plus microSD card slot, wrapped up in a metal case complete with a high performance fingerprint scanner. There’s a 3,000 mAh battery under the device too; the Honor 5X is being sold at £190, which includes the same Honor Bluetooth AM08 wireless speaker and pair of £40 Gameloft vouchers.

Honor is offering a lot of smartphone for not a lot of cash even before these deals. If you have been considering the Honor 7 or Honor 5X, these offers could be just the thing to tempt you, even if the concept of £80 worth of gaming vouchers is not the most romantic of ideas.
