Huawei is currently the third-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. This company was immensely successful last year, and they’ve kicked off this year with a bang as well. Huawei has re-introduced their Mate 8 flagship phablet during CES (for the international market), and has also introduced some phones already, while their sales are still quite strong. That being said, Huawei will show up at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona at the end of this month, but we didn’t expect them to showcase anything mind blowing considering they’ve had a strong presence at CES. Well, Huawei might surprise us after all, read on.
The company’s CEO, Yu Chengdong, has actually released a rather interesting teaser image on his official Weibo (Chinese social network) page quite recently. If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see the date and time of Huawei’s event, and a rather interesting teaser at the same time. There’s a caption on the image that says ‘The new style of business’, and it is being written by a pen. Now, the first thing that comes to mind is that the much rumored MateBook might make an appearance at MWC after all. The company’s hybrid laptop has been rumored for a long time now, and it has even leaked several times thus far. It is said that this will be a hybrid laptop (tablet + keyboard), and that it will ship with a stylus. Now, according to rumors, this device will feature a 12.9-inch display, and some rumors have been saying that it will run both Windows and Android (dual boot setup), which is quite interesting.
On the other hand, this might not be a teaser for a MateBook after all, even though everything points to it. Keep in mind that this is just an educated guess on our side, it is possible that Huawei aims to release a smartphone / phablet which will sport a stylus, or something of the sort.
