Multiple Images Of Samsung Galaxy Tab A 7.0 Leaked Online

Samsung Electronics is the world’s largest Android OEM (Original Equipment manufacturer), and is the market leader both in smartphones as well as in Android tablets. The company’s strategy has always been to carpet bomb the market with a bewildering array of devices (both smartphones and tablets), which has worked wonders for the company over the years. Even though its market share has seen a bit of a dip of late in some key emerging markets, it is still holding on to its number one rank globally and is even closing the gap with Apple in the US according to a recent report. While the global tablet market is seeing a rapid downturn in recent times, Samsung continues to have a strong presence in the category, with multiple product lineups just like the smartphone segment.

Talking about myriad Samsung tablets, the company is reportedly getting ready to unveil the 2016 edition of its mid-ranged slate soon. According to reports, the 7-inch tablet has been in the works for a while and will apparently be launched by the South Korean company by the end of March or early April, although there’s no real official ETA on that yet. One curious thing is the nomenclature of the upcoming device, with some reports calling it the Galaxy Tab A while others believe it will be marketed as the Galaxy Tab E. Some rumors have claimed that the upcoming slate will be priced at around €169 in Europe, although there’s no official confirmation from Samsung on that front either.

Some recent rumors have even suggested that the same slate will be launched with different names in different markets, but with Samsung being tightlipped at the moment, all such reports need to be taken with a pinch of salt as usual. Either way, whether it arrives as the Galaxy Tab A or as the Galaxy Tab E, multiple leaks have already revealed a lot about its supposed hardware specs and design. What we now have is a further set of promotional images that are said to be of the upcoming mid-range tablet from Samsung. If these leaks do hold up, the device will be offered in at least two colors, and Samsung will apparently also concentrate on design, performance, content and service aspects of the gadget while marketing it. The images can be seen in the gallery below, so do check them out.
