The Samsung Galaxy S7 and the LG G5 are two of the most talked about devices of right now. They are both high profile smartphones from two major Android manufacturers and they are both expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks at this year’s MWC event in Barcelona. In fact, they are both expected to be unveiled on the same day as LG and Samsung are holding their respective press conferences only hours apart on Feb 21. As a result, both of these devices have already been the subject of a ton of speculation, rumors, leaked specs and features.
Part of the leaking has actually come from case manufacturers. As these are typically thought to receive dimensions and designs early, to help with the production of the cases for launch, they are normally considered to be good indications of what a device will look like. In terms of the LG G5, we have already seen leaked cases from Diztronic and also Olixar. While in terms of the Galaxy S7, we have seen leaked cases coming through from Spigen and also from the retailer DHgate.
Following which, the latest case leaks are now emerging today. Most consumers will already be familiar with Verus as they manufacture a number of cases for high profile devices. However, Verus recently went through a rebrand and are now known as VRS Design and now, new VRS Design cases have been spotted listed on Mobile Fun for both the LG G5 and the Samsung Galaxy S7. In terms of the images, they are identical in their position and both show an angled view of both the front and back of each device. As a result, the images do offer a good view of the front, the camera placements on the back and also the positioning of the side located buttons. What is equally noteworthy is that they also do seem to be consistent in their look and style to the previous case images that have come through, which does further add weight to the likelihood that they are fairly good representations of the two devices. Either way, with just over two weeks until MWC kicks off, it wont be long before the two devices are fully revealed.
