SleepRate Introduces Mobile App To Treat Sleep Deficiencies

Mobile applications have gone above and beyond pretty much everyone’s expectations. There are tons of extremely useful applications in the Google Play store (and other app stores as well), no matter which category we’re talking about. New apps arrive on a daily basis, and the further we go, the more useful apps become. That being said, another such app has been announced quite recently, and it’s called SleepRate, read on.

Some people have serious sleep issues, and SleepRate company claims to have found a way to treat sleep deficiencies with the help of their newest app. This is an end-to-end mobile app that monitors sleep in order to detect and treat non-medical Sleep Deficit Disorders. This application will be showcased by the company at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona which kicks off in a couple of days. The company will be on the show floor from February 22nd to February 25th, in case you’re going to be lurking around MWC this year. Anyhow, let’s talk more about this app, shall we.

SleepRate’s patented diagnostic technology uses sleep analysis algorithms which are FDA-cleared, in order to treat sleep deficiencies. SleepRate monitors sleep schedule, related habits, duration, quality, continuity efficiency and structure, snoring and environmental noises in the habitual sleep settings over six night. After all the data is collected, the SleepRate diagnoses and reports sleep deficiencies, presuming some were detected. If some sleep deficiencies are detected, SleepRate will present a personalized Sleep Improvement Plan which will lay out some sleep-related behavioral goals in front of you. Don’t worry, these are step-by-step instructions, and should be fairly easy to follow.

Now, according to the company’s research, insomnia severity score decreases in insomniacs who complete this program. The time it takes to fall asleep decreases 27%, and the wake-up times during the night also decrease, 41% according to the research. “Millions of people around the world are suffering from Sleep Deficit Disorders, which represent a major health concern with potentially devastating consequences. Sleep is not a luxury and the failure to get the sleep the body needs can lead to numerous major health risks. SleepRate monitors and detects sleep deficits in both those actively seeking treatments for a known sleep problem, as well as for those who may not be aware that they suffered from sleep deprivation at all, providing them with a personalized treatment plan that allows to get the good night sleep they need,” said Dr. Anda Baharav, founder and CEO of SleepRate.
