Sprint Announce Pricing Details For The Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge

The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have now being fully unveiled by Samsung during their MWC event in Barcelona. Since then, the carriers have been releasing details on their respective plans and ways in which you can pick up either of the devices. AT&T has provided their pricing, as has T-Mobile this morning. Another carrier to make their intentions known is Sprint, who have now also confirmed they will be carrying both devices.

In terms of Sprint’s pricing, if you are just after the device on a straight buy plan, then you can pick up the Samsung Galaxy S7 for $27.09 per month over the course of 24 months. If you are more inclined towards the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, then this will be available through Sprint for $31.25 per month and again, over 24 months. Both devices will be eligible for customers to pick up a second device at cheaper rate. In terms of the Galaxy S7, this secondary device will be available for $13.54 per month for 24 months, while the second Galaxy S7 Edge will be available for $15.62 per month for 24 months. Alternatively, those heading to Sprint for either device will also be able to part in the ‘Galaxy Forever’ program. This will essentially allow customers to buy the latest handset from Samsung and then upgrade to the next generation handset when it becomes available, providing at least 12 full monthly Sprint Lease payments have been made. The way this plan will work is customers looking for the Samsung Galaxy S7 can pick the device up for $25.99 per month on a 24 month plan and then upgrade after completion of the first 12 payments. While the Galaxy S7 edge will cost $30.50 per month over the 24 months and again, be eligible for the upgrade after the first 12 payments have been made.

Closing out the Sprint details, like the other carriers who have already announced, Sprint has confirmed that both devices will be available to purchase in-store starting from March 11 and will be able to pre-order starting from Feb 23. While sprint has also confirmed that new customers switching to Sprint will also be able to take part in their ‘switch and save’ promotion which looks to cut the cost of plans from AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon by as much as 50-percent.
