ZTE Blade V7 & V7 Lite Unveiled With Android 6.0, 2GB Of RAM

ZTE is one of the largest Chinese tech companies, and like pretty much every other tech giant, ZTE has made an appearance at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The company has already announced the Spro Plus Smart Projector, and they’ve just introduced two additional smartphones that we’re here to take a look at. Before we do that, keep in mind that these phones belong to ZTE’s ‘Blade’ line of devices, which means these are not exactly high-end offerings.

The company has introduced the Blade V7 and V7 Lite handsets. The Blade V7 is both bigger and more powerful out of the two. This handset sports a 5.2-inch fullHD IPS display, along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. The 13-megapixel camera is placed on the back of this device, and a 5-megapixel snapper can be found up front. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed here with ZTE’s custom UI available on top of it. The 2,500mAh battery is available on the inside, and the device offers 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE. MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor fuels this handset, along with the Mali-T720 GPU. The device measures 146 x 72.5 x 7.5mm, in case you were wondering. The Blade V7 comes in Gold and Silver color options, and it will be available for purchase in Germany, Spain, Ethiopia, South Africa and Mexico in the summer, but ZTE still hasn’t released any pricing info for it.

The ZTE Blade V7 Lite comes with a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. This handset is fueled by MediaTek’s MT6735P 64-bit quad-core SoC running at 1.3GHz, and the Mali-T720 GPU is available here as well. The 8-megapixel snapper is located on both the front, and back of this handset, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed here. Two SIM card slots are available on the inside of the Blade V7 Lite, and a 2,500mAh battery is also a part of the package. The Blade V7 Lite measures 146 x 72.5 x 7.5mm, and comes in Silver and Gold color options. The phone will be available in Mexico, Spain, Germany and Thailand by Spring this year, but ZTE hasn’t released any pricing info for this device either, but we do expect them to do that soon.
