Acer Launch Chromebase 24 for Meetings, All-In-One Business PC

Chrome OS is a platform which is growing fairly rapidly and besides the consumer market, it is one which seems to be making waves in both the education and business sectors too. In fact, in a bid to make the platform more attractive to businesses, two years ago Google introduced their Chromebox for Meetings. An aspect which look to bridge the world of Chrome with that of video conferencing in a more robust and simple to use solution. Since then, there has been a few Chromebox-related devices that have come through, including a number from Acer. However, today Acer and Google have unveiled and launched the world’s first all-in-one Chromebox for Meetings solution, the Acer Chromebase 24 for Meetings.

The Acer Chromebase 24 is an all-in-one purchase solution and comes equipped with a 23.8-inch touchscreen display which makes use of a 1920 x 1080 resolution. It also comes powered by an Intel processor and equipped with an integrated and adjustable HD camera, 4 microphones and 2 stereo speakers. The idea being, this is a perfect solution for when a fully operational video conference system is needed and especially for those looking to save on space, as the Chromebase 24 comes equipped with all the necessary hardware, software and services already included. Not to mention, as it is a device which runs on Chrome OS naturally, it will be one which offers a greater level of security and more frequent updates. Aspects which will further benefit business-focused buyers.

In terms of the availability, the Acer Chromebase 24 for Meetings is available to purchase now either from Acer’s online store or from the Google Store. In terms of price, the Acer Chromebase 24 for Meetings costs $799.
