Snowboard on Alpine Hills in Alto's Adventure

If you ever wanted to snowboard but didn’t want to actually get out in the cold weather and the snow, then check out Alto’s Adventure. This new game allows you to snowboard across the alpine hills, through neighboring villages, ancient woodlands as well as long-abandoned ruins. Making for a pretty sweet experience. While snowboarding down the Alpine Hills, you’ll be able to rescue llamas that ran away, grind on the rooftops, leap over terrifying chasms and so much more. This game isn’t just about snowboarding, in fact it takes snowboarding to the next level. Literally.

Within the game you have fluid, graceful and exhilarating physics-based gameplay. Alto’s Adventure also has terrain which has been procedurally generated from real-world snowboarding. Making for a more real-life like experience. In the game you’ll experience fully dynamic lighting and weather effects, this includes fog, rainbows, shooting stars, snow storms, blizzards, thunderstorms and more. The developer touts that the trick system is an easy to learn one button system. Although while it is easy to learn, it is a bit difficult to master. There are over 180 handcrafted goals in this game to help you test out your skills on the slopes. You’ll discover six unique snowboarders, each of which have their own special attributes and special abilities. The visual design in Alto’s Adventure is beautiful yet minimal.

Alto’s Adventure, like many other games, landed on iOS first then came over to Android. So if you are using both platforms you’ll be able to play it on either one. Alto’s Adventure does have support for Google Play Games, and is a freemium game. What we mean by “freemium” is that the game is free to download and play, but there are in-app purchases which will unlock items and such. The developer has the price set at $3.99 per item, so it could get pretty expensive pretty quickly. Alto’s Adventure is pretty small in size, coming in at 32MB in size. So most smartphones should have enough space to install it. It’s also support on Android 2.3 and higher. You can pick up Alto’s Adventure from the Google Play Store now.
