CREO is a company most of you probably don’t know much about yet. This company managed to secure $3 million in funding a while back, and have invested that money in developing their very own smartphone and Android-based OS. CREO has introduced the Mark 1 smartphone, and their very own Fuel OS earlier today. We’ve already covered the main announcement of this phone, along with some additional info about the Fuel OS.
That being said, the company was kind enough to share some official images shot using the Mark 1 smartphone our way, so let’s check them out (keep in mind they’re not in full resolution). If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see 8 images captured using Mark 1’s 21-megapixel camera. This snapper sports PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and is capable of shooting slow motion video at 120 FPS (in fullHD). There are a number of options available in the camera app, like Panorama, HDR and Auto Exposure, for example. It takes this camera 0.5s to focus, allegedly, and next to it the company included the dual-LED, dual tone flash. The images shot with this camera look really good, the color balance is on point, even though the colors are a bit more saturated in some sample images, though not by much. The macro shots look really good as well, though we’d like to see more low light images taken by this camera, the only image that comes close to low light is the second one in the gallery down below.
CREO’s Mark 1 handset can be considered mid to high-end smartphone, it sports a 5.5-inch fullHD (1920 x 1080) LTPS display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. The phone is fueled by the Helio X10 64-bit octa-core processor by MediaTek, and features an 8-megapixel camera up front. The 3,000mAh battery is available here as well, and the phone is made out of metal. Android 5.1 Lollipop comes pre-installed here, and on top of it, you’ll find CREO’s Fuel OS which comes with a number of features. The CREO Mark 1 is priced at Rs. 19,999 ($301) and will be available for purchase through the company’s official site and Flipkart in India soon.
