The Google Nexus 5X, which is sometimes referred to as the “little brother” of the Nexus 6P, due to the fact that it is indeed smaller, has been seeing its price drop quite a bit since being unveiled last fall. It was announced with a price of $379, and now about 6 months later it has dropped about $150. Right now, you can pick up the 16GB model for just $229 over on eBay. That’s a pretty great deal for the Nexus 5X, especially if you’re wanting to have a device that can run the Android N Developer Preview.
When talking about specs of the Nexus 5X, we’re looking at a 5.2-inch 1080p display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. There is a 32GB model, but neither model have microSD card slots. So you’re stuck with what’s inside. There’s a non-removable 2700mAh battery inside as well, which will keep you going all day long. Best of all, it runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is in the process of receiving the April security patch. Additionally, the Nexus 5X is capable of running the Android N Developer Preview, as mentioned already. So this makes a great phone for any Android developer out there.
