Featured: Top 10 Best Icon Packs for Android – April 2016

Android is very customizable, and one of the ways it’s customizable is with icon packs. You can download an icon pack to put on your launcher and it’ll theme all of the app icons on your phone. It’s a pretty neat idea, and some of these icon packs can look really sweet. Let’s check out the top 10.

Urmun – Icon Pack

Urmun here is an icon pack that is made with material design icons. So they look really slick, especially if you are using a material design-themed wallpaper on your home screen. Urmun also has about 3670 icons that are themed, and the ones that aren’t have a little template that makes them look somewhat themed.

Cryten – Icon Pack

Cryten is another icon pack that is pretty cool, it’s made by the same developer as Urmun as well. Cryten is a pastel looking icon pack with over 3670 icons themed as well. There are also a slew of wallpapers included within the app that will definitely make your smartphone look pretty nice.

MATERIALISTIK ICON PACK

As you can probably tell by the name, Materialistik, this is a material design icon pack with over 3300 themed icons. This is based off of Google’s Material Design and Android M guidelines, so they look pretty darn good. There are also over 106 wallpapers available, all of which are in QHD resolution.

RETRORIKA ICON PACK

With Retrorika here, material meets vintage. And they meet up pretty well. Like Materialistik, this is also based off of Google’s guidelines for Android M and Material Design. The icons look pretty sweet, although this is not a free icon pack, so you will have to fork out a couple of bucks.

Nevio – Icon Pack

With over 1845 icons already themed, and more coming each week, Nevio is another good icon pack to pick up. All of these icons are round, definitely good for the OCD so that every icon looks similar instead of being in different shapes. There is also plenty of wallpapers and it does support Muzei.

Polycon – Icon Pack

Great looking icons here in Polycon. What’s interesting about this one is that there is a built-in tool for requesting icons for new apps. But there is also Theme Engine (from CyanogenMod) support. Something that you don’t see too often when it comes to icon packs. There are over a thousand icons that are themed here as well.

CandyCons – Icon Pack

You can never get enough material design, right? That’s what CandyCons is here for. These are all made with Google’s Material Design guidelines and each icon is also handcrafted. So they look really sweet on your home screen. Given the right wallpaper, and it will blow you away. Talking about wallpapers, there are also a handful included here.

Silhouette Icon Pack

In the simplistic or minimalistic realm of things we have the Silhouette icon pack available. This gives your icons a nice looking silhouette, with the shadow being the apps normal color and the front being black – or white if you choose the lighter version. And of course there are a ton of great wallpapers included here as well.

Sunshine – Icon Pack

A nice and bright icon pack, but not too bright. Sunshine is also modeled after Google’s material design guidelines, so they look great, especially when paired with stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow. There are over 1660 icons supported in this icon pack and of course it supports all of the usual launchers like Nova, Action Launcher, Apex Launcher and many others.

Moonshine – Icon Pack

The original material design icon pack. Moonshine is straight up material design. There’s nothing else special about this icon pack other than that. This is great for using with the many, many apps that don’t yet have a material design icon. This way you can get that and more. It does support the usual third-party launchers, and does also have a slew of wallpapers included.
