Huawei P9 & P9 Plus Pricing And Availability Announced

As most of you know by now, Huawei has introduced two new flagship devices earlier today, the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus. The company has been teasing their P9 device(s) for weeks now, and now they’re finally official. The two devices are quite similar, they sport similar internals, and are almost identical on the outside, the only difference is their size, the Huawei P9 Plus is somewhat bigger than the P9 considering it sports a larger 5.5-inch display.

Anyhow, we’ve covered the P9 and P9 Plus announcements already, and are here to talk more about the availability and pricing of these two phones. The Huawei P9 and P9 Plus will be available in a number of color options starting April 16th. The two devices will hit 29 countries worldwide, though U.S. has not been mentioned just yet. This is a long list of countries, so bear with me, here we go: Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom. The Huawei P9 has been announced in two variants, the 2GB of RAM + 32GB of internal storage, and 3GB of RAM + 64GB of internal storage models. The former will cost €599, while the more powerful variant will set you back €649, should you choose to buy it. The Huawei P9 Plus, on the other hand, comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage, and is priced at €749. The company has announced that the Huawei P9 will be available in Ceramic White, Haze Gold, Prestige Gold, Rose Gold, Silver and Titanium Grey color variants, and even though the P9 Plus colors were not mentioned separately, we guess the P9 Plus will be available in all those color variants as well.

The Huawei P9 and P9 Plus are quite similar, as already mentioned. The Huawei P9 sports a 5.2-inch fullHD display, and comes in two RAM and storage variants, while the P9 Plus comes with a 5.5-inch fullHD display, and only one RAM and storage variant. Both devices are fueled by the company’s Kirin 955 64-bit octa-core processor, and both of them will ship with two 12-megapixel Leica cameras on the back, below which Huawei included a fingerprint scanner.
