The LG G5 is one of the most powerful smartphones available at the moment. LG’s new flagship has been introduced during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona back in February, and the device has first launched in South Korea on March 31st, and then it started rolling out in the US on April 1st. Well, LG is now rolling out the G5 to more regions it seems, as one carrier in the UK just announced that the device is available, read on.
The LG G5 is now available through Vodafone UK, for those of you who are interested. The Device is available in two color variants, Titan and Titan Gold. If you’re interested, you can pick up the device on Vodafone Red 2GB Bundle for £34 per month (£9 upfront cost), and you’ll get unlimited texts, unlimited minutes and 2GB of data. If you opt to buy the device on a Vodafone Red Value 4GB Bundle for £39 per month (£9 upfront cost), you’ll get to choose between 6 months of free access to Sky Sports Mobile TV, Spotify Premium or a NOW TV Entertainment Pass. As a reminder, Vodafone Red Value 4GB Bundle also gets you unlimited texts, unlimited minutes and 4GB of data. Now, that’s not all, the first 3,000 customers who order the device on a Vodafone Red or Red Value Bundle will receive a free LG CAM Plus as well, which is one of the company’s ‘LG Friends’ modules for the LG G5.
The LG G5 features a 5.3-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) display, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The device is fueled by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor, along with the Adreno 530 GPU for graphics. The 16-megapixel snapper can be found on the back of this phone, and an 8-megapixel snapper is available up front. The 2,800mAh battery is removable, and you’ll also find the Type-C USB port on the bottom of this phone. Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed here with LG’s UX 5.0 UI available on top of it. The G5 is made out of metal, and its bottom ‘chin’ is removable, and it gives you an access to the phone’s battery, as well as a way to user other modules into this device. The G5 measures 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.7mm, while it weighs 159 grams.
