Motorola Releases Moto 360 Sport In India For $300

Motorola has introduced a handful of smartphones last year, and along with those phones, the company has also introduced the second generation of their Android Wear-powered smartwatch, the Moto 360 (2015). The company has announced several variants of this smartwatch actually, the 42mm and 46mm men’s versions, 42mm women’s variant and the Moto 360 Sport. Now, the Moto 360 Sport looks different than the regular Moto 360, and the company also used different materials here. That being said, all of these smartwatches have been out in the market for a while now, but the ‘Sport’ variant of Moto 360 hasn’t been available in India, well, until now.

The company has introduced Moto 360 Sport in India earlier today. Now, it seems like only the Black variant of this smartwatch will be available in India, at least for now. Anyhow, the device is priced at Rs. 19,999 for those of you who are interested, and it can be purchased exclusively from Flipkart. The Moto 360 Sport features a 1.37-inch 360 x 325 AnyLight Hybrid display with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of it. The watch also ships with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, while it is water and dust resistant (IP67 rating). The 300mAh battery is also a part of this package, and so is Bluetooth 4.0 LE. The watch also offers Wi-Fi connectivity, and is fueled by the Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor. There are several sensors available on the inside of the Moto 360 Sport: Barometric Altimeter, Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Gyroscope and the Vibration / Haptics engine. The Optical heart rate monitor is also a part of this package, and the watch is compatible with Android (4.3+) and iOS.

That is more or less it. Those of you who are interested in purchasing this smartwatch, you can already do so if you visit the source link down below. As already mentioned, only the black strap variant of this smartwatch is available for the time being, but we do hope Motorola plans to sell other colors in India as well. Either way, we’ll let you know if the company releases more info in the near future, so stay tuned.
