The Starbucks App Gets New Dashboard UI & More

If you happen to love coffee and are a fan of Starbucks, you probably have the official Starbucks app installed on your device, and if you don’t you probably should since it’s essentially an efficient portal to your rewards and useful things to have on hand any time you go to pick up your next latte. While the official Starbucks application on Android is not new by any means, it has gotten a recent update that introduces some new changes to look out for, included tweaks to the dashboard, star balance, and the rewards and redeem offers sections.

In the middle of all the changes in this most recent update to the Starbucks application, the most noticeable is likely to be the new dashboard because this is where users go to see things like rewards and other offers. Starbucks has basically redesigned the look of the app but more so the dashboard, giving things a much more streamlined look and allowing users to access essentially all of the important things in one easy-to-access location. With the new dashboard in place, there’s no longer a need to deviate to another spot in the app just to look up music or offers as they’ll be present right alongside stars balances and rewards.

Another big change is the ability for users to now redeem their offers that they have earned with orders placed from inside of the mobile app. As people tend to be more mobile and on the go a lot, Starbucks has made it easier to redeem any offers for things like food and drinks with mobile orders so there is one less thing to do when you show up at the coffee shop, which should save people that have a crazy hectic morning a little bit of extra time. The app also now lets you keep track of your star balances and users can see how many stars they have earned anytime they feel the need to look. In addition to seeing the star balance, the app also now shows you how may more stars you’ll need before you reach your next reward, so you ca be sure that you get that free drink the next time you go in.
