'Universal Copy' Lets You Copy Text From Almost Every App

There are tons of applications available in the Google Play Store for you to choose from, ranging from various customization apps, all the way to utility apps and games. That being said, I personally am not much of a gamer and am often on the lookout for extremely functional applications that will improve my Android experience. That being said, Android’s default clip tray isn’t’ exactly the best solution around, at least as far as sheer functionality goes, and while I was browsing for a better solution out there, a rather interesting app popped up, which is not necessarily your regular clip tray, but something rather different, read on.

The app in question is called ‘Universal Copy’, and it’s currently holding a 4.4-star rating in the Google Play Store. As already mentioned, this app is not exactly a regular clip tray manager, and the reason is simple, unlike other clipboard managers this app allows you to copy the text which you cannot copy using Android’s default copy / paste functions. Let’s take Twitter and Facebook as an example, considering they don’t allow such copy / paste functions. All you need to do is fire up the ‘Uniersal Copy’ app, after which it will sit in your notification shade. Then you need to navigate to the text you want to copy, activate ‘Universal Copy’ from the notification shade, tap on the text you want to copy (after which it will turn blue), and tap on the ‘copy’ function in the upper right corner of the app. That’s basically it, now all you have to do is paste that text wherever you like.

Universal Copy is a rather specific app, and if you need such functionality, then this app can come in really handy. Apps which do not allow you to copy text can be rather annoying, and this is definitely a nice workaround. The Universal Copy app also features nice design, which is also important, and it’s completely free to use. There are a couple of official images available in the gallery down below, in case you’d like to check those out before you head over to the Google Play Store and install this app on your device.
