Samsung may have just released the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge to consumers world-wide, but the new talk of the town is the LG G5. Hitting store shelves today the G5 sports a brand new design that’s both fresh for LG and for the industry at large. With a metal unibody design and a modular component at the bottom, the G5 really is one of the most innovative phones on the market today, and in fact won many innovation awards after its unveiling at Mobile World Congress 2016 back in February. This modular design opens the G5 up to a slew of brand new accessories and options, plus gives the ability to have a removable battery on an all metal design.
In fact our AT&T version of the G5, pictured above, came with the extra battery, charging pack and USB Type-C to microUSB adapter. Check all these things out for yourself in the video below and don’t forget to check out our first impressions as well before we get that final review up. The LG G5 is certainly looking to be one of the hottest phones this year, and it’s all in how LG is packaging the thing. From the innovative new hardware to the downright fast and well designed software, LG is packing a punch that’s likely to be remembered for months to come.
