Samsung has started rolling out the May security update to the Galaxy S7 Edge units in South Korea. The update weights 36.65MB, and chances are regular Galaxy S7 units are getting this very same update in the country as well. The two largest carriers in the country, KT and LG U+, are probably also getting updates as we speak, so if you’ve purchased either of these two devices, chances are you’ll get the update soon, if you haven’t already.

Oppo Unveils A37, The Company’s All New Entry-Level Smartphone

Following the announcements of the Oppo R9 and R9 Plus which occurred a while back, the company has now released a new entry-level handset, the Oppo A37. This smartphone sports a 5-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The phone is fueled by MediaTek’s MT6750 octa-core SoC, and ships with a 2,550mAh battery. The device is expected to cost around $196 once it becomes available.
