Ulefone is a China-based company we’ve talked about quite a few times thus far. This isn’t exactly a big company, but they’ve managed to attract some interest from consumers by releasing very affordable, and yet interesting products. The latest such device is the Ulefone Future which we’ve reported on before, a smartphone with no bezel on the sides which was introduced last month.
Many of you have been wondering when will this device going to become available, and how much will it cost, well, the company has finally revealed that info as well. The company has informed us that the Ulefone Future will become available for pre-sale on May 4th for $199.99, which is a nice deal considering the phone costs $249.99. Keep in mind that the company will offer a limited amount of devices during this pre-sale, so if you’re interested, you may want to be amongst the first buyers. 2,000 units will become available on May 4th starting at 5PM (GMT +8), and will be available for purchase through 10 stores which partnered up with the company. The phone will be available for regular purchase on May 25th, and the company will offer some accessories along with the device at the end of this month (once the sale kicks off), like the Type-C to microUSB adapter, TPU case, screen protector… and so on.
The Ulefone Future features a 5.5-inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) In-Cell LTPS display, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by the Helio P10 64-bit octa-core processor manufactured by MediaTek, and a 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it is not removable. The 16-megapixel camera is available on the back of this smartphone, and a 5-megapixel shooter can be found up front. The phone is made out of metal, and the Gorilla Glass 3 protection is placed on top of its display. The side-facing fingerprint scanner is also included here, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes pre-installed on the Ulefone Future.
