Explore The Solar System With Ready Jet Go!

Games are meant to be fun. Although there are games out there that are designed to be challenging, the majority of games are about having fun. Fun doesn’t have to mean games can’t also be informative, though, which is where games like Ready Jet Go! come in. This particular game is developed by PBS Kids and is an educational experience that kids can learn from while they play. Most kids likely envision traveling through outer space at one point or another, and Ready Jet Go! gives kids, or anyone really, the opportunity to explore the solar system and learn about tons of different things within it from the constellations to the different planets.

Ready Jet Go! contains over 300 different facts about the planets and the constellations for users to learn and they can be discovered through exploration of the solar system or they can be looked up in the Solar Encyclopedia. Either way, the facts are there no matter how users choose to access them. Using the sensors in the phone, kids can point the device towards the sky and see the positions of the different constellations, stars, and planets, similar to apps like Google Sky Map.

In addition to searching for stars, planets, and constellations, Ready Jet Go! can also act as a digital coloring book allowing you to color the constellations and more. There are also things to collect, as you can play hide and seek to earn all of the different Ready Jet Go! space badges which should be more than enough to keep kids busy for a time. Information and data within the application is backed by NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab so parents can be assured their kids will be learning based on correct and up to date content. As an educational game, parents can also feel good about letting their kids interact with it even for longer periods of time as it’s meant to be a learning tool more than a game. Ready Jet Go! features great three-dimensional graphics too so everything looks visually appealing while playing, and the game is free without any in-app purchases or ad support.
