The HTC 10 is one of the high-profile flagships released this year. The HTC 10 was introduced last month, and it is available in a number of markets already. That being said, we’ve already reviewed this smartphone, and it turns out HTC actually did a really, really good job this time around. The HTC 10, as already mentioned, is available in specific regions, and the company has just expanded its availability by announcing the phone in India, read on.

This Taiwan-based company has announced a while back that the HTC 10 will be introduced in India on May 26th, which is today. The phone is now official in the country, and it will be available starting next month, though HTC did not specify the exact date, or anything of the sort. The phone will be available in Carbon Grey and Topaz Gold color variants, and it costs Rs. 52,990 ($788) in the country. For those of you who are wondering, this is the flagship HTC 10 handset, not the ‘Lifestyle’ variant which was rumored to become available in India. The HTC 10 features a 5.2-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) Super LCD 5 display, 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of expandable native storage. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor, and a 3,000mAh battery can be found on the inside, and it is not removable. The 12-megapixel camera (f/1.8 aperture, HTC UltraPixel 2, 1.55um pixels, OIS) is located on the back of this phone, and a 5-megapixel shooter (1.34um pixels, f/1.8 aperture, OIS, 86-degree wide-angle lens) is placed on the phone’s front side.

The fingerprint scanner is located below the display, and it doubles as a capacitive home key. Android 6.0 Marshmallow is available here out of the box, and on top of it, you’ll be able to find HTC’s Sense 8.0 UI. There are two speakers available in the HTC 10, while NFC and Type-C USB port are also a part of this package. Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 tech will make sure the device’s battery gets charged up quickly, while the phone measures 145.9 x 71.9 x 9.0mm, and weighs 161 grams. That is pretty much it, stay tuned for additional info regarding the phone’s availability.
