To commemorate Memorial Day, HTC has prepared a handful of interesting deals for some of its products, shaving 60% and 40% off the prices for the HTC RE Camera and accessories.
More excitingly, for a limited period of time (until May 30), buyers of HTC’s latest flagship phone – the HTC 10 – will also receive an HTC RE Camera for free. The offer is limited to one camera only, but HTC also prepared a different discount for prospective customers planning to buy solely the camera. For these customers, HTC offers the RE Camera at 60% off, which brings the price to $79.60, down from $199. The offer is limited to 5 RE Cameras per customer. In addition, HTC is also cutting down the prices of most of its accessories by 40% until May 30. As such, the HTC Ice View case launched along with the HTC 10 now costs $29.99 as opposed to $49.99, and the HTC Active Earphones cost $23.99, down from $39.99. The HTC Universal Car Kit can be bought for $29.99 down from $49.99, and the USB Type-C connector is now priced at $11.99, as opposed to $19.99. The same 40% discount applies to accessories for other models including the HTC One A9, with the Clear Shield case now costing $11.99, and the HTC Dot View Ice case being accompanied by a price tag of $29.99.
As for the HTC RE Camera, which might be the most exciting product covered by the Memorial Day discount, the unit is normally available in four colors, namely white, orange, navy blue, and turquoise, but at the time of writing, only the white and navy blue variants were left in stock. Otherwise, the HTC RE Camera is equipped with a 16-megapixel 1/2.3-inch sensor, 146-degrees ultra wide angle lens with an f/2.8 aperture, and 8 GB of storage via microSD, which can be expanded by up to 128 GB. The camera also features Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n connectivity, and is IP57-certified for dust and water resistance.
