Jaybird Launch New Freedom Wireless Buds For $199

Wireless Bluetooth headphones have come quite a long ways over the last five years, much like the state of the Android mobile operating system, but many may still feel that high-quality audio can be difficult to find with a set of Bluetooth buds or headphones. Jaybird is a company that specializes in wireless Bluetooth audio technology and have just announced their latest offering, the fifth generation model of the Freedom Wireless Bluetooth Buds, to offer consumers their “best yet” experience in wireless audio so they can listen to their favorite music without having to compromise on fit or sound quality.

The new Freedom Wireless Bluetooth Buds were designed to offer up a fashion forward style that could be worn anytime, while still offering exceptional audio quality to users without having to be tethered to cords and wires plugged into their mobile device. News of Jaybird’s new Freedom earbuds follow the recent acquisition of the company by Logitech for $50 million, the same company behind the Ultimate Ears line of speakers, which took place back on April 12th making these the first product to launch under Logitech.

Jaybird states that the new Freedom wireless Bluetooth buds feature an improved and more secure fit, all while still offering the comfort that other Jaybird headphones are known for. They come with a battery life that lasts for around 8 hours of playback time which is split to four hours each between the battery in the earbuds themselves and the battery from the included charging clip. Like other Jaybird products, the new Freedom buds come with a soft carrying pouch t keep them stored securely, and they also come with different sized gel tips for the ears as well as different sized tensioners that help to hold the buds in place. Jaybird is selling their new Freedom buds online through their own website at the price of $199.95, but they can also be picked up from Best Buy’s website at the same cost. They also come in multiple colors, including Gold, Carbon, Ocean, and Blaze. The earbuds also work with the MySound application that can be found on the Play Store to create a customized sound profile.
