Koodo's Refer-a-Friend Promo Is Now $50 For A Limited Time

The carriers in the US and Canada are throwing incentives at us right and left – all vying for our business.  Telus’ sub-brand, Koodo, has just doubled their incentive to refer a friend from $25 to $50.  Between now and May 31, if you bring a friend to Koodo, they will hook you and your friend up with $50 in bill credits…of course, this is after your friend activates with Koodo.  Sure, you cannot take it out and spend it, but it is just like the cash you would normally have to shell out for your monthly bill.  You can even refer family members as long as the person is not currently a Koodo customer.

This offer is not a one-time deal that goes away after just one friend referral.  You can refer as many friends as you want and any that activate, Koodo will give them and you another $50 bill credit – up to $300 of credits per calendar year.  If you activate a second line for yourself, then you limit will jump to $600 per calendar year.  Just make sure that you register both lines for the program and each one is sending out referral codes.  Your friend needs to make sure they redeem their offer BEFORE they activate their service with Koodo.  It will take four weeks or less for you to receive your credits once the referred person activates their account.  If you terminate service before 90 days of activating, the value of the bill credit will be deducted from both accounts – yours and the person you refer.

Koodo offers a broad range of smartphones – from the older models for $0 with a monthly Tab, such as Moto X Play, Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo, LG G3, Moto G (Third Gen) and Samsung Grand Prime to newer models for $300 and a Tab Plus, such as the new LG G5, Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge.  Koodo even has models in between, such as the Nexus 6P for $220 on a monthly Tab Plus. All of Koodo’s plans include unlimited evenings (5 pm) and weekends, unlimited text and picture messaging, and call display, voicemail, call waiting, conference calling and unlimited Canada-wide family calling.  They start at $30 per month for 100 minutes, 100MB of data, and unlimited messaging and go all the way up to $90 a month for unlimited minutes, 5GB of data and unlimited messaging.  You can even bring your own phone and save some money. Koodo also scores higher in customer service.
