LG Stylus 2 Phablet Announced In India, It's Priced At $306

The LG G5 has been available out in the market for quite some time now. This is LG’s newest flagship smartphone, and many of you know that it was announced back in February during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The LG G5 was the company’s main smartphone announcement for that particular trade show, but was not the only LG-branded handset announced in Barcelona. LG has also introduced the LG Stylus 2, the company’s mid-range phablet. This device was released in South Korea back in March, and the device has been launched in India earlier today, read on.

The LG Stylus 2 is a direct successor to the LG G4 Stylus which was also available in India last year. This device has been officially listed on LG India’s official website, and this is basically the exact same phone we’ve seen introduced back in February. The LG Stylus 2 features a 5.7-inch 720p (1280 x 720) display, along with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of expandable internal storage. The device is fueled by a quad-core SoC running at 1.2GHz, and also comes with two SIM card slots. The 3,000mAh battery is also a part of this package, and it is removable, which is not something we see that often lately. The 13-megapixel snapper is placed on the back of the LG Stylus 2, and an 8-megapixel camera is available up front. 4G LTE is also available here, and the device ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, while you’ll find LG’s custom UI available on top of Google’s OS. The device comes with LG’s nano-coated stylus, and weighs 145 grams. The phone measures 155 x 79.6 x 7.4mm, in case you were wondering.

The LG Stylus 2 sure is a nice looking handset, and if you’re in the market for a mid-range phablet, this might be just the device for you. The LG Stylus comes in Brown and Titanium color variants in India, and it is priced at Rs. 20,500 ($306). The phone is not yet available for purchase, but it is listed on LG India’s official website, which means it will be available for purchase across the country soon.
