Meizu MX6 Rumored To Launch On June 20th And Cost $275

Meizu has introduced three news devices last month, including their PRO 6 flagship. That being said, this China-based company is expected to announce their sixth-gen MX handset, the Meizu MX6. This smartphone has been rumored for quite some time now, and judging by what we’ve seen thus far, it will certainly going to be inferior to the recently released Meizu PRO 6, but it will still be quite a powerful device.

According to the info that leaked earlier today, the device will be fueled by the Helio X20 64-bit deca-core SoC, while it will also ship in both 3GB and 4GB RAM variants. The 3GB RAM model will come with 32GB of internal storage, while the 4GB RAM variant will ship with 64GB of storage. The device is also expected to be made out of metal, and to sport a 20.7-megapixel camera on the back. It is possible this smartphone will ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, with Meizu’s Flyme 6 OS on top of it, but we’ll see.

That being said, we did see quite a few rumors regarding the Meizu MX6, but we did see much info regarding its release date. The Meizu MX5 was announced in June last year, so many people assumed that the Meizu MX6 will arrive next month. Well, it seems like that info might even be accurate. The newest leak from China claims that the Meizu MX6 will be announced on June 20th, though do keep in mind this is not an official confirmation or anything of the sort, so take this info with a grain of salt. On top of the specifications we’ve talked about in the first paragraph, it is worth mentioning that rumors claim this smartphone will cost 1,799 Yuan ($275), and we’re guessing that’s the price for the 3GB RAM model of the device. If that pricing info is accurate, then you can expect the 4GB RAM variant to be priced at around 1,999 Yuan ($305). Considering what specifications this device will probably include, this pricing is more than affordable, and chances are the Meizu MX6 will be a very popular device, just like its predecessor.
