Rumor: LG G Flex 3 With 4GB RAM & SD820 To Debut At IFA 2016

When it comes to LG smartphones, most of the focus typically surrounds their latest G range smartphone. In the case of 2016, that would be the LG G5 and its more novel modular design. However, they are not the only high-profile smartphone ranges that LG does. As well as the G range, last year saw LG introduce a new line in the form of the LG V with the V10 leading the pack. Then there is the G Flex series. While the G Flex 1 and 2 came through in successive years, rumors had developed that the next in line, the G Flex 3, would also arrive. Although, that was quite some time ago and since then there has been little news on the G Flex 3 front. Until now.

New reports are starting to emerge suggesting that the LG G Flex 3 is still on the cards and will actually be unveiled at this year’s IFA event in Berlin in September. While this is still an early rumor and in spite of limited information coming through, the latest report does highlight a number of the specs which is said to be included on the next generation G Flex smartphone. As such, the report details that the G Flex 3 will come sporting a 5.5-inch QHD display. Inside, the G Flex 3 will come loaded with 4GB RAM and will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor. Cameras come in the form of a 16-megapixel rear camera which is coupled with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of storage, it seems there G Flex 3 will either come sporting 32GB or 64GB internal storage (or two variants) and will come with the means to expand, thanks to the inclusion of a microSD card slot.

Of course, at the moment, this is just very much a rumor with little corroborative evidence or suggestions available. In fact, the specs do differ somewhat from the previous reports that came through almost a year ago. So whether the G Flex 3 will be unveiled at IFA or not does remain to be seen. Although one aspect which is worth paying particular attention to, is that the G Flex 3 will come sporting a modular design, like the G5. So if you have been hoping for a new G Flex smartphone to come through, then the latest news for now is that IFA in September might be when it does.
